We'll all start with a blank timber mini bird house. Generally speaking these will be ornamental, but we'll be using great quality acrylic paint, so realistically they could survive the outdoor elements. We'll consider what theme we'd like to choose for our bird houses and what colours we'd like to use. After marking out our designs, we'll use a mixture of paints and paint pens to finish off our mater pieces.
This session runs from 9am until 11am. If our activity is finished with time to spare, I encourage all the children to create their own 'free art' using various craft items from my stash.
